Type A Chambers - Need Thermowell Pot

I'm a new owner of a Chambers Stove, Type A. I notice on this site that the Thermowell single pots are available but I've been unable to find one on the web. Any ideas?

You can watch ebay. The pots come up there often, but they aren't cheap.
I only know of one place you can find a new pot made for Chambers. I have an old ad from Macy's Stove Works which lists enamel or cast iron pots for the Thermowell, but no prices. 713-521-0934
You can also look at stock pots, etc., and any pot with a tight fitting lid that fits can be used.

Just got my 1939 model b. It has the thermo well lid, but no pot. Can someone please post the EXACT dimensions of the original? I may resort to fabricating one from scratch. One just went off on ebay for around $100. Pretty pricey for a pot. All help appreciated. Thanks.

I spoke with Macy's Stove Works yesterday. They do not have enameled pots. They DO have original (cleaned up) aluminum 7 qt pots for $225.00. They also have new stainless steel pots for $109.00.

I have an original pot. It measures 9 1/4" diameter (the lid clamps increase the side to side width another 1/4"). The height is 7".

Keep in mind, if you do get a non-original pot, even if the lid fits fairly tight for effective cooking, you need to be able to lift it safely out of the deepwell, full of boiling hot contents! Lid clamps enable this to be done safely. So if you do engineer your own from scratch, keep this in mind. Hopefully you can find someone in your community with an original pot to copy from.
